Course Descriptions
All classes are instructed by USPTA professional. Programs run on 5 week cycles beginning on September 19. All classes are $60/player per 5 week session. Youth classes are no larger than 6 players. Adult classes no larger than 8 players. Classes are not run with less than 3 players. Signups are conducted on court on the first lesson. QUICKSTART/LITTLE TENNIS 1 (4-6 yrs)
A fun atmosphere for young children who will learn confidence with using their body in motion, hand-eye coordination, and playing cooperatively in a group setting. USTA approved slow pressure-less and foam balls will be used with a lower net, smaller racquets(provided) and on a 36’ court. Some parent participation. USPTA/QUICKSTART/LITTLE TENNIS certified instructor.

QUICKSTART/LITTLE TENNIS BEGINNERS 2(7-10)
This is the same program as the younger program but the skill building is gauged for an older youth. Play starts on a 36’ court and then moves up to a USTA approved 60’

QUICKSTART/LITTLE TENNIS INTERMEDIATE 3(7-10)
This is for players who have already attended a QS/LT program. Skill building is based on developing cooperative rally play with ground strokes and serving. Attention to sportsmanship and fun. All play is on a USTA approved 60’ QS/LT size court.

YOUTH BEGINNER 1 (11-14 yrs)
Players will be instructed in the fundamentals of grips, ground stroke production, footwork and shot consistency. Introduction to serving and volley. Smaller class size provides for individual attention. Targeted repetition will build confidence in skill production and enjoyment of the game. USPTA certified instructor. Class size limited to 4-6.

YOUTH INTERMEDIATE 2 (11-14)
Players should be able to rally and have basic stroke fundamentals. No beginners. This class will take the developed skills of the player and refine their footwork and ball control. Drills will focus on deep court consistency, racquet control on the volley and singles and doubles play. Player level must be approved by USPTA instructor.

YOUTH ADVANCED 3 (11-14)
For developing competitive players who plan on participating on high school tennis team. Drills will be based on match play conditions for singles and doubles. Footwork and agility will be components of all skills towards developing an all court game.

YOUNG ADULT BEGINNER 4 (13-17)
Introduction to tennis learning the appropriate grips and correct stroke production. Using pressure-less balls and playing on a smaller court, the player will develop confidence and enjoyment.
