Elings Park offers a safe, serene and healthy facility for all campers. Our counselors are CPR and First Aid certified and we maintain a minimum 12:1 counselor to camper ratio for each camp.

Cost
$180 per week (includes lunch and a camp T-shirt)
Scholarships are available through funding from the Santa Barbara Foundation.
Extended Care
Camps run from 9am-3pm and we offer extended childcare from 8-9am and 3-5pm. Cost is $90 per week. You may register by checking the extended care option on the online registration form.
What to Bring
Each camper is provided with a camp T-shirt and is encouraged to wear it daily. Please label your child's belongings. We recommend bringing the following items: backpack/bag, water bottle, bathing suit, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes and a substantial snack.
Camp Lunch
Lunch is included. In the past, we have featured meals from local businesses (Mesa Pizza, Sam's To Go, Super Cuca's, etc) as well as a Friday BBQ at the park.
Drop-Off and Pick Up
Camp runs from 9am-3pm daily. If you are not using extended care, please pick up and drop off your child at these times every day. Campers will only be released to the parent or legal guardian listed on the original registration form. Parents must drop off/pick up their child each day and sign in/out. (A valid photo ID is required at all times. If you wish to designate another person for pick up or drop off, please fill out the appropriate authorization form.)

9th-12th graders: Do you have community service hours to complete? Are you energetic, responsible and great with kids? Elings Park Summer Camp can help satisfy your community service requirements and give you training and experience in outdoor sports and recreation.

Nature and Games
Camp
Ages 5-12
Nature and Games Camp includes nature hikes, outdoor games, plant germination, arts and crafts using natural materials, and education about native plants and animals. Among our guest speakers are staff from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, Public Works, and the Humane Society who instruct the children in a variety of areas including fire safety, water conservancy, and animal appreciation and safety.
Sports and Activities Camp
Ages 5-12
Sports and Activities Camp includes a variety of games and non-competitive sports activities including hiking, tag, kickball, frisbee, relays, capture the flag, basketball drills and water games.
Softball Camp
Ages 6-12 (girls only)
Come play ball at the Elings Park Castagnola Softball Complex--one of the finest facilities of its kind in
Santa Barbara
. This exciting camp includes instruction in basic skills –throwing, catching, batting and fielding– as well as strategy for game situations. All skill levels are welcome.
Mountain Bike
Camp
Ages 7-14
Our experienced instructors guide your child through the basics of trail etiquette, bike maintenance, and riding skills and will prepare participants to compete in future races here at the Park. Participants are required to bring a functi oning mountain bike and a helmet. Space is limited, so be sure to register early! (Note: The cost for this camp is $130 and it ends at 12:00pm daily.)
BMX Camp

is home to many nationally ranked riders. Each participant must bring their own helmet and a functioning bike.
One Premier Soccer Camp
Ages 6-12
Improve your flexibility and coordination and develop all-around skills in the world’s most popular sport. All skill levels welcome. Participants receive a One Premiere soccer ball and Elings Park camp T-shirt.
Rugby
Camp
Ages 5-12
Learn the basic rules and skills of the second most popular sport in the world. With coaches from UCSB men’s and women’s rugby, campers will receive first-class instruction. Participants receive a youth rugby ball and Elings Park camp T-shirt.
Theater Camp
Ages 7-14
Come experience the world of William Shakespeare through creative exercises and theater games designed especially for children.
