Races takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays every month at 9:30 am, weather permitting. Get there early for practice and signup. It’s $20 for the first class and $15 for each additional class for Saturday races. A membership is NOT required to race.

Quick Facts:

The track is open during park hours: sunrise to sunset.

All proceeds from the membership go directly to the park to cover insurance and liability.

Track cannot be modified without permission, please send an email to channelislandsrc@gmail.com.  Maintenance like sweeping, weeding, removing rocks, and watering are always encouraged. Every year the track is rebuilt with heavy equipment which drives the cost up to around $3,000. Elings Park does not provide any financial aid to the R/C track, meaning that any maintenance required is privately funded.
