Nate Latta, an established local Santa Barbara singer, songwriter and musician, is a regular at local bars, pubs, festivals, parties and events. Born in the greater Los Angeles area, Nate moved to the Pacific Northwest as a young child. Growing up in a small coastal Oregon logging town, Nate’s earliest memories were dominated by country, bluegrass and folk music.
His first album, Broken Glass, was released in February 2011. Produced by David West at Studio Z in Santa Barbara, California, and featuring well-known local artists such as Tom Ball, David West, and Barney Tower, Broken Glass reflects Nate’s life experiences and outlook. Combining songs on love, fatherhood, family, and heartache, his music echoes themes of sorrow, growing up, redemption, and Americana.

Going past the stems of modern rock n roll, you’ll have to dig six feet under the music tree in which rock and roll originated; roots n’ roll. Although The Hubcap Stealers have taken this sound and put their own dark and twisted spin on it, it’s very easy to fall victim to it’s liking. Their high energy, all original shows have a sound all it’s own. Whether opening up large venues for The Reverend Horton Heat, or playing live underground radio shows, The Hubcap Stealers will always deliver an unforgettable performance.
