Elings Park is home to five multi-use sports fields, BMX and RC car tracks, a paragliding hill and hiking/mountain biking trails. Come play in Santa Barbara’s great outdoors!
Baseball/Softball Field Complex
Each field has stadium lights, bleachers, top quality infield mix, and beautiful outfields. The three fields were originally built for adult softball in the early eighties and were converted to facilitate youth baseball and softball. Currently the fields are home to Elings Park Senior and Adult Softball Leagues (slowpitch and fastpitch), PONY Baseball, and many other local youth and adult leagues.
To inquire about renting a baseball/softball field, please contact the Program and Events Director Christina Franquet at 569-5611 x10.
Two multi-use fields sit side-by-side in a pristine bowl here at Elings Park. Several groups call these fields their home for both practice and games: Grunions Rugby, Santa Barbara Adult Soccer League, Southern Union Soccer League, American Youth Soccer Organization and many more. The fields are open daily from 7:00am to sunset, except when rain or maintenance requires closure.
